Likes: Crossovers that ‘make sense’ (meaning there’s some point of similarity in both canons that allow it, or one canon is written in the voice of another), plotty-plotty-plotness, romance, plot-based smut. I like romance and smut between any and all gender pairings. What matters to me is that the personalities mesh and complement each other, not that the tabs and slots fit in a particular way. I am definitely yay genderqueer.
Dislikes: Heavy angst, heavy h/c, non-con, drunksex, slutshaming, character bashing, PWP, dom/sub*, bdsm*.
*I love these things for Oglaf, because they fit in the canon, but for other fandoms I'm just meh about them. They are not triggers for me.
Fandom-specific stuff:
1) Oglaf
Why I Love This: I love the smut and humor and the threads of plot running through it. I like how queer it is, how women are responsible for their sexuality, and how likeable the bad guys are. I like the crush the Xoan ambassador has on Ivan, and I _adore_ the crush the Snow Queen has on the Mercenary. She’s just so adorable, and while I don’t think the Mercenary has a soft spot, just maaaaaybe there’s a heart of gold in there somewhere? If she hasn’t sold it for beer and smokes money?
Favorite Character(s): Snow Queen, Mercenary, Thief, Sandoval the Xoan Ambassador, The Mistress, Ivan, Vampire Assassin
Favorite Pairing(s): Snow Queen/Mercenary
Favorite Genre(s): Romance/smut
Ratings: R to NR
Please No: non-con
Optional Details: If you do the Snow Queen and Mercenary, they don’t have to be together permanently (it seems unlikely), but I’d prefer there to be some kind of emotional element.
2) A Night in the Lonesome October – Roger Zelazny
What I love: Part of why I love this particular iteration of Jack the Ripper is that he ends up doing what he did for the greater good. In reality, that's an awful concept, but I love how Zelazny does it here. I'd prefer for that kind of characterization to be preserved. Other than that, I love crossovers, and this story lends itself well to crossover. Feel free to bring in any characters from within or outside this canon.
Favorite Character(s): Jack, Snuff, Greymalkin
Favorite Pairing(s): I don't have to have romance if that's not your thing. Also, I'm not married to Jack/Jill, so if you decide you want to do romance, you're welcome to either keep or abandon her. If you decide to do crossover and include romance or romantic elements, I wouldn't be averse to pairing him with someone from outside this canon. I suppose the only thing I'd like preserved (again) is that Jack be a Closer.
Favorite Genre(s): Crossover, Romance, hermetic ritual. Humor is okay, as long as it's witty humor rather than wacky or absurdist.
Ratings: PG to NR
Please No: non-con, graphic murder/violence. I realize this _is_ Jack the Ripper we're talking about, and that he should have a bit of ruthlessness for his cause, but I don't really want to see the real-life crimes re-created.
3) Warcraft
What I love: Lore. I'm most familiar with the Warcraft III and the Wrath of the Lich King content, though I'm more or less up to date on Cataclysm. I'm a huge fan of the ongoing conflict between humans and high elves/blood elves in particular, especially the humans betrayal of the elves and the imprisonment of Kael'thas and his forces in Dalaran. There's a lot of recent bad blood on both sides, and neither one comes out smelling of roses. All of which leads into…
Favorite Character(s)/favorite pairing: Thassarian, Koltira Deathweaver
Why I like them: They're so bromancy! That being said, I enjoy reading between the lines of the canon stuff. There's a lot of fodder there for epic, Montague/Capulet romance-denied stuff. I'm good with Lich King era fic, or exploration of what might have happened to or between them in the new Cataclysm stuff. I'm not all that interested in early/origin stuff, but if that's where your heart lies, surprise me!
Favorite Genre(s): Romance, Bromance, Plot-based smut, Adventures!
Ratings: PG to NR
Please No: non-con
Final General Notes: If you'd like to take a look at my own fanfic, you can find it here: http://kitsunealyc.livejournal.com/. I'm slowly editing it and migrating it over to AO3, but I haven't made much progress yet.

Thanks so much, and Happy Yuletide!
Oh man. The cherry trees in Japan may pose for pictures, but the entire freaking country of Ireland poses, I swear. And hey, it may suck to be in constant cloudiness and rain, but it makes the green glow in this incredible way.
More pictures! More pictures! I must feed my jealousy! *^_^*
Oddly enough, I knew that craic meant good times. It’s on my Tshirt that I got in Dublin. It says, “Dublin for the craic!” It amused me.
Amazing!! Wonderful!! Lovely!!
(and the pictures aren’t so bad either!) π
Love & kisses (and just a twinge or three of jealousy)

frayed knot. Sorry
OH!! *headdesk* Ok, some of the words are right. Alright, I have no idea.
However “Be Our Guest” is still on my soundtrack. π
The electric light parade?
1) forget the name of the song but the group is Machines of Loving grace and this song was on the crow soundtrack
10) Muppets – Im going to go back there someday
12) Cat and the fiddle, no clue who sang it
16) Buffy the musical – Sweet’s song
easy my ass
I think its “Golgatha Tenement Blues” but I could be wrong about both the spelling and the name of the song.
8. Tori Amos, Pretty Good Year
#2 is “Into the Fire” from the Scarlet Pimpernel! I love that song!
#9 is “Agony” from Into the Woods. Another song I love!
14) Possession- Sarah McLachlan
I have no idea about any of these, but #14 reminds me of song about a soldier (a knight I think) that road up a hill after two societies had killed each other. The one city had a precious treasure under a stone and the other wanted it. So a war was fought to get that great treasure. The last soldier stumbles up the hill and finds that the prize that so many died to possess was “peace” written on the stone.
I have only ever seen it once in a song book in middle school and heard it played once on the radio.
That’s “One Tin Soldier” – it starts “Listen children to a story that was written long ago,” and, amusingly, ended up on my version of this meme when I did it. π π
fantastic! now I can go and find it myself. Hurray!
Thanks.
I only just recently ever heard that song, and I really like it. But naw, 14 was just some angsty Sarah McLachlan.
11. Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, Disneyland is proud to present
The electric Light Parade
or
Fantasmic
or
Believe Fireworks
Is the really the beginning of a song??
I count it as the beginning because the voice is highly digitized and created into a musical instrument.
3. One day, one night, one moment, my dreams to be tomorrow
Is this from Phantom of the opera?
6) Honeysuckle Rose – ??
9) Agony! – Prince, from Into the Woods
13) I know this song, but can’t for the LIFE of me figure out the artist or the song!!!
14) Possession, Sarah McLachlan
Transylvanian Concubine, by Rasputina. You fail at gothiness ;>
